Summer Service Changes, 2023

Throughout the year, we review our bus routes and schedules to see if there are areas where we can improve service. We take several factors into consideration, including feedback and ridership levels, to ensure we’re meeting the needs of Calgarians.

The Summer Service Changes come into effect on Monday, June 26.

Route	Description
Route 19 - 16 Avenue North	Route 19 – 16 Ave N and Route 31 – Dalhousie/Lions Park will be combined into a new Route 19 – 16 Ave N. Routes 19 and 31 both currently serve the 16 Avenue N corridor, meeting at Lions Park Station. Merging these routes into a new Route 19 will improve connectivity for customers between major destinations in northwest, north-central, and northeast Calgary, including new destinations such as Market Mall. The new Route 19 will be removed from two stops: Stop 2803 – North Hill Station WB (former route 19) and Stop 6724 – North Hill Station EB (former Route 31 stop). Route 31 - Dalhousie/ Lions Park	Route cancelled. Replaced with revised Route 19. Please view the revised map and schedule.
Route 2 - Mt Pleasant/ Killarney/ 17 Ave	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 8 - North Pointe/ Foothills Medical Centre	Last southbound 12:51 a.m. weekday trip been moved to leave Northpointe terminal at 1:03 a.m. to improve transfers from Routes 100 and 301. School trips have been removed and weekeday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 9 - Dalhousie/ Chinook	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 11 - Southwest Loop	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.

Route 33 - Vista Heights/ Rundle	Weekday trip times have been adjusted for improved schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 36 - Riverbend	Weekday service frequency has been improved to every 41 minutes. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 37 - Heritage Station / Canyon Meadows	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 38 - Brentwood Station/Temple	New weekday 4:44 a.m. eastbound trip has been added to leave from Brentwood Station toward Whitehorn. School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 40 - Crowfoot/ North Hill	Stop changed from #3858 to #9878 at Crowfoot Loop. Please view the schedule.

Route 43 - McKnight - Westwinds Station/Chinook Station	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.

Route 53 - Brentwood - Greenwood	Weekday and weekend trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Weekend service frequency adjusted to every 31 minutes. Please view the revised schedule.

Route 58 - Erin Woods/ 44 Street SE	School trips have been removed and weekday schedules have been adjusted. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 71 - Taradale	Weekend service frequency has been adjusted to every 31 minutes. The northbound 7:33 a.m. weekend trip has been adusted to leave at 7:32 a.m. Please view the revised schedule.

Route 78 - Sundance / Chaparral	Weekday mid-day service has been adjusted to every 23 minutes. School trips have been removed and schedules have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.

Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/ Tuscany	Late evening service frequency improved to every 10 minutes until 10 p.m. (northbound) and 10:30 p.m. (southbound). Please view the revised schedule.
Blue Line - Saddletowne - 69 Street	Late evening service frequency improved to every 10 minutes until 10:10 p.m. (northbound) and 9:30 p.m. (southbound). Please view the revised schedule.
Route 300 - Airport/ City Centre	The 10:49 pm. weekday trip from the Airport has been changed to leave at 10:51. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 502 - Heritage Park Shuttle	Weekday, Saturday and Sunday trip times are added for the summer season. (Effective as of May 20.) Please view the revised schedule.
Routes 696-899 School Expresses	All school routes have been cancelled for the summer.
