Over the holidays we adjust our service hours.

On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, buses, CTrains, and On Demand will be operating on a Sunday level of service. Transit will be regular price. Calgary Transit will have extended service on New Year’s Eve.

Thursday, Dec 25 Buses and CTrains operating on a Sunday level of service. On Demand service operating on Sunday schedule and level of service.

Wednesday, Dec 31

  • The Red Line will run every 10 minutes until around 21:30 and then switch to every 15 minutes.
  • The Blue Line will run every 10 minutes until around 21:30 and then switch to every 15 minutes.
  • Service will end around 4 a.m.

Bus: Service extended for Routes: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 22, 302, MAX Orange, MAX Yellow, MAX Teal, MAX Purple and MAX Green.  These buses will run every 30-35 minutes. Last trips will leave downtown at approximately 3 a.m.

Calgary Transit Access hours

All regular (recurring) bookings, except dialysis, will be cancelled from December 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026. If you still need your subscription trip during this time, please book it as an occasional trip using the CTA online booking tool or by calling Calgary Transit Access at 403-537-7777 (option 2). Regular bookings resume automatically on January 5, 2026.
