On Tuesday, September 30 we will be operating buses and CTrains on a modified Saturday level of service. On Demand will be operating at a regular weekday level of service.

The crossing enhancements at 58th Avenue SE are now complete, with new gates officially in service as of September 1, 2025.

Starting September 8, our Call Centre will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including weekends and holidays.

Throughout the year, we review our bus routes and schedules to see if there are areas where we can improve service. We take several factors into consideration, including feedback and ridership levels, to ensure we’re meeting the needs of Calgarians.  The Fall Service Changes come into effect on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Heritage Day 2025

Beginning July 16, 2025, mobile tickets (on our My Fare and Transit apps) will need to be validated on our platforms before boarding a CTrain.

Over the next year, 160 brand-new community shuttle buses will our fleet, replacing older models to deliver a more comfortable, cost-effective ride. 

We’ve heard that there have been advertisements on social media for 6-month transit passes for $3.00. These advertisements are fake, and do not come from The City of Calgary or Calgary Transit.
