Warning | May 16-18: 7 Avenue Closure – Red & Blue Line service disruptions

From Saturday, May 16 to the very early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2025, all downtown stations along 7 Avenue, as well as Victoria Park/Stampede Station and a few surrounding stations, will be closed. Shuttle buses will replace CTrain service between affected stations, including downtown. Full CTrain service will be back up and running again before start of service on Tuesday, May 19!

Please be advised that some bus service will be temporarily impacted on Tuesday, May 19, while necessary essential maintenance is performed on part of our fleet. You may notice different types of buses on your usual routes. Please plan ahead, give yourself extra travel time, and check your transit app for real-time updates. Park and Ride

Park and Ride

Did you know that most of our CTrain Stations and several of our main bus terminals have Park and Ride lots? These lots have both free parking and reserved parking. Reserved parking spaces become free after 10 a.m. on weekdays.

If you have multiple vehicles (including motorcycles), you are able to register up to five (5) license plates but activate up to three (3) license plates at a time. However, only one vehicle can be parked at any time for each spot you have reserved.

For your safety, our lots are patrolled regularly by our Peace Officers. The Calgary Parking Authority is responsible for parking enforcement of all vehicles. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed or towed.
