Information | Attention: Bus Stop Signs

Some bus stop signs in the Saddletowne, Northeast and North Central areas have not yet been updated following our fall service changes, which began on August 31. Please use our Trip Planner or the Transit app to plan your trip – both will provide up-to-date locations of all the stops on your route. We are working to update the remaining bus stop signs as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.

Haysboro Storage Facility Expansion

The newly expanded Haysboro Storage Facility is now in operation. The facility supports the storage and servicing of light rail vehicles (LRVs) when they are not in service on the Red Line.

Originally opened in 1984, the Haysboro Storage Facility was built to support three-car CTrain service and could store up to 60 LRVs, with 30 stored indoors.

The expansion increases total storage capacity to 76 LRVs, with 58 able to be stored indoors. Indoor storage helps protect vehicles from the elements, extending lifespan and improving service reliability and efficiency.

This added capacity means we can move more customers, more often, using both three- and four-car trains.

Facility upgrades include:

  • Significant track and building extension to accommodate four-car train storage
  • Roof-top solar photovoltaics panels that convert sunlight into electricity
  • Upgraded traction power equipment
  • New operator facilities
  • Improved natural and facility lighting
  • New exterior appearance

Facility construction began January 2024 was completed in January 2026.
